  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

JOB OVERVIEW

  • As main coordinator for the clients/jobs/shipments assigned by the Supervisor / Manager.
  • Ensure shipments executed as per the INCOTERMS, shipping terms and clients requirements. Clients can be also classified as offices, departments and branches.
  • Ensure shipments quoted, executed and billed as per agreed charges
  • Update clients and systems on the milestones

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and process clients RFQ/RFI
  • Check and study scope of works, cargo details and shipping documents
  • Liaise with other offices / branches / departments to source for rates
  • Liaise with local agents/transporters/terminals/MHE operators and etc for rates
  • Prepare costing and quotation as per company / department strategy
  • Execute domestics and international logistics activities, which cover seafreight, aifreight, conventional and etc
  • Coordinate with shipper, offices, shipping agents/liners, transporters and etc
  • Monitor, follow up shipment progress and update clients
  • Update milestones in the system as company / department KPI
  • Prepare invoice to clients through relevant systems
  • Support the department or other department for any operational or billing dispute
  • Liaise with authorities (if needed) for import/export procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience either on shipping / freight forwarding / Projects and/or Oil & Gas
  • Possess literacy in MS Office
  • Strong planning, analytical, customer-oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Educational qualifications can be compensated by working experience

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
