Team Member, F&B
General
o Know the food menu/special promotions including preparation times, cooking methods, main ingredient and side dishes for the outlet(s) assigned.
o Ensures all guest requests and complaints are handled appropriately adhering to the hotel’s general guidelines for service recovery.
o Prepares work schedules and ensures all staff is rostered in accordance with business levels.
o Ensures all opening and closing duties are implemented in accordance with established standards.
o Conducts daily pre-service briefings.
o Checks daily mise-en-place, cleanliness and set-up before service.
o Administers requisitions: food store, beverage store etc.
o Handles all telephone calls courteously and efficiently.
o Maintains logbook.
Outlet Service
o Welcomes guests and assists in seating procedures.
o Supervises and participates in serving food & beverage according to standards.
o Knows table/seat numbering, takes orders and uses Micros system to input orders.
o Gives special attention to VIP tables.
o Assists the Host/ess in organizing reservations and table assignments.
o Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships and actively promotes repeat business.
In-Room Dining
o Sets up In-room Dining service area on time before service and according to standards.
o Keeps In-room Dining area clean and complete.
o Takes In-room Dining orders, assists guests with recommendations and up-sells to increase the average check.
o Inputs and settles order in the Micros system.
o Checks orders before they are sent to the room.
o Ensures trays and trolleys are collected timely and efficiently.
o Ensures all amenities are prepared according to requisition and standards.
o Ensures amenities are delivered, set-up and refreshed according to schedule.
Banquet Operations
o Ensures functions are set-up timely and in accordance with event orders.
o Communicate with kitchen with regards to dietary requirements and special requests.
o Ensures buffets are replenished for freshness and attractive presentation from beginning till end of functions.
o Assists team with daily functions and duties such as serving coffee breaks, set ups/tear downs.
o Ensures all signage at function entrance door is correct.
o Welcomes all organizers in the function room and offers assistance in the absence of the Banquet Operations Manager.
o Offers basic assistance with audio visual equipment as needed.
o Ensure all daily changes are added to event orders and copies distributed as appropriate.
o Supervises dinners and cocktails, assisting Team Members wherever needed.
Cashiering
o Ensures charge-to-room checks are signed and the name matches with the room number.
o Ensures the validity of all credit cards.
o Processes all Officer’s Check, Entertainment Check and City Ledger charges in accordance with established policies & procedures.
o Properly records all sales of food and beverages.
o Prepares accounting for and handling of both the daily cash receipts as well as the Cashier’s House Fund.
o Properly completes the Remittance Report and remit receipts in accordance with accounting procedures.
o Properly completes the Restaurant Cashier’s Summary.
o Accounts for all guest checks issued.
o Accepts cash payments and makes correct change
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,600.00 per month

License/Certification:
