Equipment Manager

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to join our team and oversee the management and maintenance of all test equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing processes. The Equipment Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all test equipment operates efficiently and meets operational requirements, minimizing downtime and supporting optimal production performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management, operation, and maintenance of test equipment, including burn-in testers, test handlers, and other semiconductor testing machines.
• Ensure that all equipment meets performance standards, is calibrated correctly, and is maintained according to the manufacturer's guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
• Collaborate with the production, planning, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth integration of equipment into the manufacturing process.
• Ensure timely procurement of spare parts and equipment, managing inventory to prevent disruptions.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prolong the lifespan of equipment and reduce unplanned maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment performance to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Report on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any issues to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 5-8 years of experience in equipment management or maintenance in semiconductor manufacturing, with a strong focus on test equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor testing processes, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience managing a team and leading equipment maintenance efforts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex equipment issues.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in the use of equipment management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM25,000.00 per month
