Overview
Based in our Kuala Lumpur office, the Business Services & Outsourcing (“BSO”) team provides clients with the full range of accounting and back-office services, including bookkeeping, management accounting, financial reporting, SST compliance, payroll and any other ad hoc advice and assistance on accounting-related matters.
As an Assistant Executive in the team, you will play a key role in supporting clients with their day-to-day payroll operations. This includes processing monthly payroll, maintaining accurate employee records, and ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements. You will also liaise with clients and relevant authorities to support smooth payroll delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy, timely disbursement, and compliance with statutory regulations
- Generate monthly payroll and processing of payslips
- Maintain client’s employee data system and ensure data are maintained in accordance with statutory requirement
- Liaise with clients on all payroll-related matters and queries
- Coordinate with banks and statutory bodies for payroll submissions and payments
- Prepare and reconcile payroll and statutory reports as required
- Assist with ad-hoc assignments and other tasks as required by the team or clients
Education and professional skills / knowledge
Experience & Education:
- A recognised degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Other skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- A strong team player with good interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Demonstrates a client-service mindset with a strong understanding of business acumen
