Responsibilities:
Data Entry:
  • Inputting and updating information accurately in databases, spreadsheets, etc.

Filing and Organization:
  • Managing both physical and electronic files.
  • Maintaining a systematic filing system for easy retrieval.

Communication:
  • Handling phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Drafting and editing memos, reports, and other documents.

Scheduling and Calendar Management:
  • Coordinating appointments, meetings, and events.
  • Managing calendars for executives or team members.

Customer Service:
  • Assisting clients or customers professionally.
  • Addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.

Office Supplies and Inventory:
  • Ordering and managing office supplies.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and reordering when necessary.

Meeting Support:
  • Setting up meeting rooms.
  • Preparing and distributing materials for meetings.

Basic Bookkeeping:
  • Recording and processing expenses.
  • Assisting with financial tasks as needed.

Record Keeping:
  • Maintaining accurate records of transactions and activities.

Technology Use:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to adapt to industry-specific tools and systems.

Assisting Management:
  • Providing administrative support to executives or managers.

Ad Hoc Tasks:
  • Handling miscellaneous tasks such as research or special projects.

Must-Have Requirements:
  • Accounting Background: A background in accounting or relevant coursework is required.
  • LCCI Qualifications: Must have LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounting or equivalent.

Desired Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Previous experience in office administration or clerical roles is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
