Job Objective

  • Grow the Institutional Sales Flow business through GTGM products such as FX, Bond & Sukuk (Primary and Secondary)
  • Cross sell Derivatives products such as Interest Rate Swap and Cross Currency Swap to Borrowing and Non Borrowing clients of RHB Banking Group
  • Develop and grow securities borrowing and lending / repo business within Institutional Sales segment with immediate focus only GLICs, GLCs, State owned entities

Job Responsibilities

  • Generate the revenue budget given by Head, Institutional Sales
  • Lead and help the junior dealers to achieve their budgets.
  • Build relationships with existing and new institutional clients as well as business associates within the industry.
  • Responsible for the quality of customer relations and support services provided to the clients.
  • Work closely with the regional bond syndicate and debt capital market teams in identifying key investors for new transactions and for reverse enquiries.
  • Work closely with the Structured Product team for new transactions and for reverse enquiries.
  • Provide up-to-date market information or feedbacks to Head, Group Sales for the pricing committee meetings.
  • Work closely with other RHB Banking group staff, to identify and refer cross-sell opportunities
  • Exercise and maintain a high standard of professionalism in dealing with business partners and clients and strive to preserve and enhance the good reputation and goodwill of the department and Bank as well as build better relationship with business partners and clients.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Treasury Sales, with emphasis on Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives and Structured Products, in a reputable Financial Institution.
  • Good understanding of treasury products.
  • Practical experience in Fixed Income Sales
  • Good communications and presentation skills.
  • Good marketing approach, especially to Institutional Investors, ability to identify customer business growth and customer acquisition opportunities.
