JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Support business development initiative for the Group covering the globe which include assessing competitive landscape, business case development, conducting due diligence, lead generation and sourcing, and financial analysis.
  • Work closely with leadership and cross functional members of management team to drive and implement corporate strategy and long-range planning based on current portfolio opportunities and risks, financing needs and organizational capabilities.
  • Assist in identifying portfolio, financing and/or organizational gaps and plans for how to best address them.
  • Prepare business development documents, presentations, and briefing books. Prepare, evaluate, and present robust financial modeling and analyses to value projects and terms; develop, participate and deliver high level impactful presentations and conclusions to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Participate in deal construction and negotiations to expand the Group beyond current footprint in terms of category, consumer base and/or territory/country.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business and minimum 8 years’ experience in business development (domestic and export). Having both Modern Trade and General Trade experience is added advantage.
  • An advanced degree (MBA, M.S., MD, or Ph.D.) is preferred.
  • Preferably to have experience in FMCG.
  • Hands-on experience successfully supporting the evaluation, negotiation, and closing a variety of large and complex licensing and/or partnership transactions.
  • Excellent relationship building, presentation and communications skills.
  • The ability to influence and work successfully with varied audiences.
  • Energetic, self-starter, results oriented and the ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Passionate and self-motivated to assist with driving deals to a successful conclusion and to deliver quality results.
