A Toys Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring toy products are well-stocked, attractively displayed, and effectively promoted to maximize sales. Their job scope includes:

1. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitoring stock levels to ensure toys are available at all times.
  • Placing orders with the HQ to replenish stock based on demand.
  • Preventing overstock or stock shortages by analyzing sales trends.

2. Visual Merchandising & Display

  • Arranging toy displays to attract children and parents.
  • Ensuring shelves are neat, organized, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Setting up promotional displays, standees, and end caps to highlight bestsellers.

3. Sales & Promotions

  • Implementing seasonal promotions (e.g., Christmas, school holidays).
  • Working with marketing teams to promote new toy launches.
  • Monitoring competitors’ pricing, promotions, and product placement.

4. Store & Supplier Coordination

  • Communicating with HQ to place purchase orders and track delivery schedules.
  • Building strong relationships with store managers and toy brands.
  • Negotiating for better shelf space and prominent product placements.
  • Ensuring pricing labels and promotional tags are correctly placed.

5. Market Research & Reporting

  • Tracking sales performance of toys and suggesting improvements.
  • Analyzing customer preferences and trending toys.
  • Providing feedback to HQ on product performance and market demand.

Pay: RM14.00 per hour
