Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to plan and direct the preparation and production of desserts, beverages, and hot food across all outlets. You will play a key role in menu planning and development, bringing creativity and innovation to our offerings by experimenting with the latest trends, menu ideas, and recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the preparation and production of desserts, beverages, and hot food items.
  • Lead menu planning and development, introducing creative and trend-driven desserts and beverages.
  • Guide and ensure the consistent execution of product quality across all outlets.
  • Identify, source, and collaborate with suppliers to introduce innovative ingredients that support continual menu improvements.
  • Oversee inventory control and implement strategies to manage food costs and other expenses, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Supervise and conduct staff training, ensuring proper food handling procedures and maintaining high hygiene standards.
  • Ensure all kitchen appliances and equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Primary/Secondary School/SPM/“O” Level. Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Culinary, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Food Technology/Nutrition, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in a related field, preferably in a kitchen environment with multi-outlet operations.
  • Skills:
  • Research & development, recipe creation
  • Expertise in both cooking and baking would be an advantage.
  • Languages: Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken fluency required)
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Detail-oriented and patient, with strong leadership qualities
  • Results-driven and open to constructive feedback
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ensure strict hygiene standards and cleanliness are maintained in all kitchen areas at all times.
