Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies:
- Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to achieve business objectives, including brand awareness, customer acquisition, and sales growth.
- Align marketing strategies with the company’s overall goals and retail trends in Malaysia.
- Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the brand identity across all retail channels.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across online and offline platforms.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, in-store promotions, and events.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
- Customer Engagement:
- Develop strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention through personalized marketing initiatives.
- Utilize customer insights and data analytics to improve targeting and segmentation.
- Digital Marketing:
- Oversee the company’s digital presence, including website, social media, and e-commerce platforms.
- Collaborate with the digital team to drive online traffic, conversions, and engagement.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product positioning.
- Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Track and report on marketing expenditures and ROI.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, merchandising, and operations.
- Vendor and Agency Management:
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Negotiate contracts and oversee the execution of marketing projects.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare regular reports on marketing performance and present to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the retail industry.
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian retail market and consumer behavior.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are a plus.
