Job Summary:
As a Health Club Attendant, you will manage guest services, facility upkeep, and safety within the gym and pool areas. Responsibilities include recording guest use, addressing complaints, ensuring cleanliness, and maintaining proper chemical levels in the pool. You will also oversee pool safety, assist lifeguards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.

Due to visa limitations, only locals will be considered.

Responsibilities:

1) Guest Services & Administration:

- Record guest use of gym and pool facilities.

- Handle guest complaints and maintain professional relationships with staff and business partners.

- Provide guests with hotel information and ensure accurate reports (e.g., sales and gym inventory).

2)Facility Management:

- Ensure cleanliness of fitness center, pool area, equipment, and towels.

- Report maintenance needs and ensure proper upkeep of facilities.

3)Safety & Compliance

- Oversee pool safety, assist lifeguards, and maintain cleanliness.

- Monitor pool’s chemical levels and ensure safety regulations are followed.

- Report unsafe conditions and assist in emergency response.

4)OSHA Responsibilities:

- Ensure safety measures are followed and communicate safety procedures.

- Take corrective action on unsafe conditions and maintain departmental safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of fitness centre equipment maintenance.
  • CPR and first aid certification (preferably).
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
