- Food preparation - Following recipes to measure, weigh, and mix ingredients, and then baking, grilling, steaming, or boiling foods. Include marinating protein and vacuum sealing.
- Food safety - Ensuring ingredients and final dishes are fresh, and maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
- Kitchen cleanliness - Keeping the kitchen clean and orderly by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out the trash
- Inventory - Keep track of the inventory and notify when there are ingredients running out.
- Other duties - Performing other kitchen duties as assigned, such as setting up workstations, executing opening and closing procedures, and occasionally serving food
- Plating - Make sure dishes are presentable according to SOP given
- Basically responsible for all activities in a small kitchen and its surrounds.
