The Nurse Aide will assume the following roles and responsibilities:
- Maintain ward’s cleanliness and checking the work done by the outsourced facilities.
- Assisting Nurses giving care to the patient e.g. bed making, sponging, positioning patient and others.
- Clear up the store, procedure room, pantry and linen room, keeping it clean and tidy.
- Sends specimens to the laboratory, taking blood from blood bank and also taking the emergency stock medication from pharmacy.
- Accompanying patient for investigation and treatment e.g. to clinic, X-ray department, physiotherapy and other departments.
- Assisting Nurses transferring the patient into and out from the ward.
- Assisting the Nurses to get the consumables from the Purchasing Department and Pharmacy Store.
- Assisting Nurses performing last office procedure.
- Performs other tasks as per request from time to time.
- Attending to call bells when necessary.
- All Nursing personnel in the Ward shall be made aware and shall follow the formal relationships, lines of communication and authority as depicted on the organizational chart.
- For specialised nursing areas, specific Job Duties & Responsibilities are detailed in the employee’s initial on the job training (OJT).
- At all times, to maintain strict confidentiality of any information you may become aware of during the course of your duties.
- Enhance professional growth and development through reading of relevant literature, as well as attendance to relevant training programmes (internal & external).
- Perform other tasks / duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
