Facility Coordinator - Immediate Hiring
We are looking for Facility Coordinator to work in our Industrial Engineering Department.
Working Location: Sendayan Techvalley, 71950 Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan
Working hours: Monday – Friday : 8.30am to 6.00pm (5.30pm on Friday)
Working Duration: 1 year + 1 year contract
Salary: RM 2,000 – RM 4,000 + Travel Allowance Provided + OT.
Job Summary:
The Facility Coordinator supports the Facility Manager in overseeing building maintenance, contractor work, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include preparing Permit to Work (PTW) documents, ensuring timely completion of routine and ad-hoc tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth facility operations. The role requires a diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and proficiency in MS Office. The candidate must be independent, proactive, and willing to work overtime if needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare Permit to Work (PTW) and related supporting documents.
- Monitor and oversee internal (OPEX) and external contractors works to ensure completion as per schedule (routine and ad-hoc works).
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes and HSE standards.
- Compile documents as per requirement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure completion of works and smooth operation of building utilities.
- Adhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental; and Energy policies, procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, GPI, low carbon initiative, etc.
- Adhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Facility Coordinator or similar role.
- Able to work during weekends/off day/rest day if required (overtime).
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer literacy and experience working with MS Office.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Independent, able to work with minimum supervision.
- Proactive and eager to learn.
