Maintenance / Facilities Engineer - Electrical - Semiconductor Industry - Pasir Gudang
Job Responsibilities:
1. Electrical
a) Participate in design and review electrical system in new construction or expansion projects.
b) Responsible for the operation and preventive maintenance of power systems, including substation and transformers.
c) Update operation guidance standard and annual maintenance plan for the power system.
d) Analyze monthly electrical consumption reports to identify inefficiencies.
e) Provide maintenance and technical guidance to electrical technicians.
2. Equipment
a) Develop and gradually improve equipment operation procedures, and conduct related equipment operation training.
b) Develop annual maintenance plans and inspection and maintenance plans for mechanical equipment, and implement them.
c) Timely resolve mechanical equipment failures and maintain repair records.
d) Optimize equipment performance and be responsible for related work on equipment transformation or improvement.
e) Responsible for the selection of electromechanical aspects of equipment procurement, as well as the installation, commissioning, and acceptance of newly purchased equipment. f) Procurement of equipment spare parts to ensure the quantity and variety are economically reasonable.
3. HVAC
a) Familiarize with the design of new construction or renovation of HVAC systems in industrial plants (including clean rooms).
b) Develop standardized operating procedures and regularly update them.
c) Prepare preventive maintenance plans, inspection sheets, and inspection item lists, and review the effectiveness of maintenance inspections.
d) Provide technical support for the operation, maintenance, and renovation of HVAC facilities.
e) Analyze the causes of daily equipment operation failures and provide rational and effective solutions.
f) Guide facility technicians in daily facility operations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs, responsible for issuing maintenance reports, and evaluating the rationality of the repair process and the accuracy of working hours.
g) Have strong energy-saving awareness and be adept at implementing energy-saving measures, with basic knowledge of electrical installation and usage.
What We Want from You
a) Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
b) At least 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance and operation. Experience in power planning and construction in semiconductor plants is preferred.
c) Familiar with local electrical regulations and able to read electrical drawings
d) Experienced in factory construction and operation
e) Proficient in high and low voltage system and able to solve electrical issues independently.
