Job Description:
· Ensure all records on toolings utilization, inventory and other related report are updated and proper update of the QAD system
· Work closely with production managers, engineers and other PIC to understand tooling requirements and constraints.
· Assigning jobs to Toolmakers and ensuring that fully support on production needs in place to meet the Planner schedule.
· Analyze existing tooling processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
· Participate and contribute in cost reduction and productivity programs
· Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for tooling department and ensure the cost are accurately estimated and controlled
· To ensure all purchased products conform to specify purchased requirements.
· Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and regularly compare costs from different vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in handling and incharge of Tooling department
· Effectively negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favourable terms.
· Strong project management skills to oversee tooling projects and ensure they stay within budget.
· Good communication, leadership and people-management
· Self-motivated, result-oriented and able to multi task under pressure and change
· Able to work independently
· 5 days’ work per week, Mon-Fri : 8.15am to 5.30pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,508.02 - RM5,008.95 per month
