Chief Learning Officer
The client is seeking experienced and strategic Chief Learning Officer (CLO) to lead the learning and development (L&D) function in a dynamic and cost-conscious oil and gas environment. - Compliance & Safety Training: Oversee mandatory training related to regulatory compliance, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with HR, technical teams, and operational leaders to align learning initiatives with business goals.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for training effectiveness and impact on business outcomes.
- Current or previous experience as a Chief Learning Officer
- Proven experience (10+ years) in learning & development, preferably within the oil & gas, energy, or heavy industries.
- Strong understanding of technical training, competency frameworks, and workforce development in a cost-sensitive environment.
- Expertise in digital learning strategies, instructional design, and leadership development.
- Ability to drive learning initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
