Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Project Sales Engineer with a strong background in Siemens automation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and driving sales activities, developing project-specific proposals, and building long-term customer relationships. You will collaborate with technical and project teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new projects that involve machine tools modernization and automation projects based on Siemens products.
- Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and propose customized Siemens solutions that meet their project needs.
- Prepare and present project proposals, quotations, and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with customer objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project engineers, technical support, and management, to ensure seamless execution of sales and project delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing ongoing support and acting as a liaison between the customer and technical teams.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, focusing on target markets and industries to increase Siemens’ market share.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation through to negotiation, contract closure, and post-sales support.
- Stay updated on Siemens products, market trends, and competitor offerings to provide clients with the most innovative solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, reporting regularly on sales performance and pipeline development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical/Electronic field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in sales roles, preferably with Siemens products or similar industrial systems experience. (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
- Strong understanding of Siemens automation systems, PLCs (S7), drives, and HMI.
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex engineering requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
