JOB PURPOSES

  • Execute and monitor purchase of material for Procurement Material in a set cycle time within the approved budget and available resources in accordance to the Company’s procedure and Client’s specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement synergized supply chain plans, strategies, roadmap, initiatives, and procurement tools to reduce overall costs and enhance product/service reliability while meeting project deliverables.
  • Monitor and manage the team’s budget and utilization to ensure expenses align with the approved budget.
  • Establish performance measurement criteria based on industry best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Executive procurement purchases to maximize resource utilization and cost savings, ensuring high quality and timely delivery, smooth operations, and achievement of business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with SCM policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance to maintain process integrity, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Implement SCM improvement initiatives to achieve divisional excellence and improve supply chain processes, policies, and procedures for measurable benefits.
  • Foster relationships with relevant parties and vendors/contractors to facilitate seamless collaboration and achieve divisional objectives.
  • Monitor and enhance the capability-building framework for the Heavy Engineering Operations & Yard Purchases team to ensure competency and performance standards.
  • Cultivate a healthy, safe, motivating work environment that promotes excellence, productivity, industrial harmony, discipline, and integrity.
  • Provide leadership, direction, guidance, and motivation while supporting HSE initiatives and promoting HSE as a work culture.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Management, or other professional related qualification
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in supply chain management within supply chain management, heavy engineering and oil & gas industries
