Responsibilities
- Lead, drive, provide advice and guidance in the development and implementation of financial accounting policies, guidelines, procedures and system so as to provide reliable and timely financial statement for the management and for statutory reporting in line with regulatory and Group requirement to ensure compliance and practice a good governance.
- Manage and provide financial advisory and reporting services, and implement effective measures in managing General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable and other finance activities to ensure that the Company liabilities and assets are properly accounted for in accordance with the Company's procedures and guidelines.
- Provide advice and guidance in interpretation of the Company's financial policies and procedures, application of the Limit of Authority (LOA) and the accounting treatment in relation to financial and management reporting to ensure compliance and practice good governance.
- Lead the implementation of cash management through effective implementation and control of cash flow of the Company.
- Lead and drive the implementation of fixed asset management through effective control of fixed assets acquisition and disposal etc. and by providing advice on any issue to safeguard of the Company's assets.
- In charge on the tax matters with compliance of Group Tax requirement.
- Assist in preparation of Company Annual Budget and forecast by ensuring the Group's budgeting guidelines and deadlines are adhered and Annual Budget approved by the Board.
- Assist in formulate plans and strategies in consultation with Leadership teams to ensure cost optimization and cost effectiveness in order to safeguard the Company interest.
- Responsible in preparing all finance approval papers required by the management.
- Responsible in providing guidance with regards to audit matters (for both internal and external audit) and also for tax matters (yearly tax computation and submission of SST).
- Managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.
- Other task assigned by the superior.
Qualifications
1.Degree in Accounting/ Professional Qualification in ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA or equivalent.
2.At least 7-10 years of experience in managing finance (accounting, budgeting, control and reporting).
3.Mature, proactive and demonstrated excellence in managing finance activities, including financial accounting, budgeting, internal control, managing reporting and taxation.
4.Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model.
5.A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. Needs to be seen as a team player who is committed to lifelong learning.
6.A hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
7.An effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills.
