ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sustainability & ESG Strategy
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability and ESG initiatives across the Group.
- Assist in preparing sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, and corporate presentations in alignment with global frameworks (e.g., GRI, ISSB, TCFD, CDP).
- Conduct research on emerging sustainability trends, regulatory developments, and industry benchmarks.
- Analyse climate risks, carbon reduction strategies, and renewable energy opportunities to support decision-making.
- Work with business units to collect, verify, and analyse ESG data for internal tracking and external reporting.
2. Special Projects & Corporate Strategy
- Assist in executing strategic corporate initiatives that integrate sustainability into KLK’s business strategy.
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and financial analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
- Develop clear, well-structured PowerPoint presentations and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive sustainability-related business transformations.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance
- Support engagement with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and key external partners on sustainability matters.
- Ensure compliance with ESG reporting requirements, sustainability frameworks, and corporate policies.
- Assist in due diligence, risk assessments, and impact evaluations related to sustainability and corporate strategy.
JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, corporate strategy, or management consulting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex ESG and business data.
- Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills, with experience structuring content for executive-level reports.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (GRI, ISSB, TCFD, CDP) and ESG reporting requirements.
ADDITIONAL NOTES/DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Exposure to renewable energy, decarbonisation strategies, or climate risk assessments is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across teams and senior leadership.
