Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer (Yearly Renewable Contract)

Discovering the role
This position is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and quality control processes are effectively implemented across projects. This role involves conducting inspections, audits, and assessments to maintain compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures for projects and operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
- Review and approve materials, equipment, and workmanship to meet project and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and manage QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and certifications.
- Identify non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and monitor the implementation of improvements.
- Work closely with project teams, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality control procedures and compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and ensure continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant industry regulations.
- Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards related to quality management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a QA/QC role, preferably in the security, construction, or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality certifications is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
