Job Description:

  • Provide legal support and assistance for business operations in the Southeast Asia areas such as Philippines, including business travel as required.
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing various agreements and other legal documentations across all of the company’s business areas to safeguard the company’s legal interest.
  • Provide legal advice and suggestions to support business development initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, ensuring they remain up-to-date and legally sound.
  • Monitor and analyse changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company’s practices align with the current legal requirements.
  • Regularly brief the internal stakeholders on significant legal and regulatory developments which may affect the business.
  • Conduct training for all employees in relation to internal Legal SOP and law and regulations requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Working Days: 5 Days / Week (Monday to Friday)

Working Hours: 9:00AM to 6:00PM

Working Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree in law or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in in-house or private practice.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory as the candidate is required to liaise and communicate with China stakeholders.
  • Work experience in Logistic or transportation industry is an added advantage.
  • Candidates must be willing to travel.
  • Experience in corporate commercial or contract works.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, BM and Mandarin.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Able to work under pressure.
