Job Description:
- Provide legal support and assistance for business operations in the Southeast Asia areas such as Philippines, including business travel as required.
- Assist with drafting and reviewing various agreements and other legal documentations across all of the company’s business areas to safeguard the company’s legal interest.
- Provide legal advice and suggestions to support business development initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, ensuring they remain up-to-date and legally sound.
- Monitor and analyse changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the company’s practices align with the current legal requirements.
- Regularly brief the internal stakeholders on significant legal and regulatory developments which may affect the business.
- Conduct training for all employees in relation to internal Legal SOP and law and regulations requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Working Days: 5 Days / Week (Monday to Friday)
Working Hours: 9:00AM to 6:00PM
Working Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in law or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in in-house or private practice.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is mandatory as the candidate is required to liaise and communicate with China stakeholders.
- Work experience in Logistic or transportation industry is an added advantage.
- Candidates must be willing to travel.
- Experience in corporate commercial or contract works.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, BM and Mandarin.
- Strong sense of responsibility, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Able to work under pressure.
