  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
  • Conduct analysis of GL accounts to identify trends, variances, and irregularities, providing actionable insights.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Map accounts and ensure proper classification for accurate financial reporting.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Manage the payment schedule, ensuring timely processing and accurate recording of payments.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding receivables to minimize overdue accounts.
  • Accurately record incoming payments and ensure AR reports are up-to-date.

Procurement and Supplier Management:

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and maintain strong relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Create and issue purchase orders, track delivery timelines, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Maintain procurement records, providing periodic performance and cost-efficiency reports.

Costing and Inventory Management:

  • Integrate production data into the accounting system, ensuring accurate tracking of costs (labor, materials, overhead).
  • Update cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory levels in real-time.
  • Record and reconcile finished goods and raw material usage to ensure precise inventory valuation.

Audit Support:

  • Prepare and organize required documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and readiness for audit reviews.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and procurement systems.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting while maintaining high accountability.
