Account Manager / Senior Account Manager - Healthcare Communication

About the Job
In this position, you will conduct new business development and manage existing client accounts which will primarily be pharmaceutical or medical device companies. You will be a core member of the commercial team and focus and building strong client relationships while contributing to the growth of the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Effective management of client accounts to achieve client and company's business and financial objectives.
- In collaboration with cross-functional teams, identify new opportunities and solutions beyond immediate project needs and proactively propose to clients.
- Lead value-add client discussions based upon strong understanding of their business goals, therapeutic areas, and market dynamics.
- Ensure systems and processes are implemented and optimal to ensure efficient delivery to the highest standards.
- Develop trusted relationships with key clients and maintain a deep understanding of their needs to proactively provide tailored and insightful consultancy on strategic communication solutions.
- Plan, monitor, and deliver integrated projects that cover healthcare publications like manuscripts and abstracts, healthcare content delivery, advocacy boards, events (Physical & Hybrid), webinars, digital solutions, and others
- Maintain a holistic knowledge of the industry to channel new ideas into the team Support new business development activities to ensure continued growth of key accounts and securing new business through industry-leading pitches and proposal development.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or mass communications or a scientific degree such as pharmacy, biology, or biomedical science
- Experience in digital marketing or pharmaceutical industry is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-value client relationships.
- Project management, budgeting, and financial forecasting skills
- Highly organized and efficient with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinker and resourceful problem solver.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
