Cost Accounting will play a critical role in managing and analyzing the company's cost structures to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Performs activities covering materials and production costs, costs of sales, product development, overhead, etc.
- Analyse and recommend costs and cost savings.
- Prepare and complete internal cost audit.
- Analyze the data collected and log a detailed record of the results.
- Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Provide detailed analysis and recommendations based on cost patterns, operational expenses, and financial performance.
- Formulate and implement cost control to minimize wastage in production.
- Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.
- Conduct physical inventories and monitor the movement of inventories.
- Support management with any ad hoc related to costing and financial analysis as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required for this role.
- Experiences in manufacturing or production.
- Proficiency in accounting software is an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
