Cost Accounting will play a critical role in managing and analyzing the company's cost structures to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs activities covering materials and production costs, costs of sales, product development, overhead, etc.
  • Analyse and recommend costs and cost savings.
  • Prepare and complete internal cost audit.
  • Analyze the data collected and log a detailed record of the results.
  • Analyse manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Provide detailed analysis and recommendations based on cost patterns, operational expenses, and financial performance.
  • Formulate and implement cost control to minimize wastage in production.
  • Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services.
  • Conduct physical inventories and monitor the movement of inventories.
  • Support management with any ad hoc related to costing and financial analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience is required for this role.
  • Experiences in manufacturing or production.
  • Proficiency in accounting software is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
