ROLE PURPOSE

Participate and assist in the execution of the platform Maintenance, Construction and Modification (MCM) work including hook-up, commissioning and start-up. Oversee contractors’ performance of the work to ensure that the work is executed safely, within budget and schedule and the product meets the technical requirements.

Responsibilities: -

  • Supervise and manage groups of offshore construction and hook-up and commissioning contractors’ personnel for onshore and offshore locations. Ensure the work is carried out in accordance to Company’s specifications and standards, and strict compliance to Company’s Safety regulation and contract requirements.
  • Inter-face with MCM contractor(s), HUC contractor(s) and Operation team for work planning and organize manning, schedule and mobilization.
  • Prepare and meet deadline for construction, HUC and start-up requirements such as preparation of work packs, procedure, relevant documentation, materials, certification, etc. prior to actual activities execution of offshore gas/condensate production facilities
  • Lead a team of MCM contractor personnel and HUC personnel and be directly involved with various groups offshore in the actual construction, HUC and start-up activities of the offshore facility to meet first Gas date in a safe, timely and efficient manner
  • Interface with various groups to ensure that all required information, plans, work scope, schedule, etc. related to constructability, HUC and start-up work are correct and updated
  • Required to work offshore on rotational crew change basis for offshore and to be based in the site office for fabrication yard function.
  • Assist in preparing ITB document, review contractors’ work packs and procedures
  • Ensure contractor and Operations work are aligned during SIMOP and SD execution
  • Ensure work activities are completed and commissioned prior to handover to Operations
  • Prepare MTO list, order materials and monitor delivery status, following up with Buyers/Vendors, ensuring timely delivery of material
  • Ensure the necessary work activities including shutdowns are planned to minimize downtime and that the work activities are executed in accordance with the plan

Job Requirement:-

A minimum of Diploma in Engineering Discipline or equivalent.

Minimum of 12 years relevant oil & gas experience, with at least 5 years is in similar role.

Have worked in fabrication yard and offshore platform minimum 8 years overall
