Salary Range: RM800

What we are looking for?
What can you expect from Edge Design & Contracts?
· Gain more knowledge in office setting and experience hands on in quantity surveying, cost management, or related roles.
· Enhance strong knowledge of construction processes, cost estimating, and budgeting.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
· Build strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation and project specifications.
· Internship student will get paid as per amount mentioned above.
What opportunities you will get?
· Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, covering materials, labor, and other expenses
· Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively
· Monitor actual project costs and compare them with the budget, identifying discrepancies and taking corrective action
· Oversee the preparation and issuance of tenders, ensuring all required specifications are met.
· Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
· Administer contract terms, ensuring compliance and resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the project.
· Track project progress and performance, ensuring costs, schedules, and quality standards are met.
· Prepare regular progress reports, highlighting key financial and project milestones to clients and internal teams.
· Analyze project performance and recommend cost-saving strategies or improvements based on ongoing assessments.
· Identify financial and contractual risks within projects, advising on mitigation strategies.
· Ensure that projects adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
· Work closely with the project management team to manage risks and resolve any contract-related issues.
· Maintain regular communication with clients, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
· Address and resolve client queries, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining cost efficiency.
· Coordinate between various teams to ensure that work is executed according to the agreed specifications and timelines.
