Job Responsibilities
- Work with Financial Controller to provide companies’ financial reports for consolidation purposes
- Manage finance team for timely reconciliations and submission of periodic reports
- Monitor cashflow activities and raise any concerns promptly
- Support senior management to establish, improvise and monitor finance related SOPs (and documentations) for ongoing and new businesses.
- Involvement with various departments on their operational and spending plans to ensure both financial and operational key performance areas are aligned.
- Collaborate with senior management to assess business feasibility, provide analysis, budgets and forecasts where needed.
- Oversee and work with various departments to ensure financial information is effectively communicated to both external and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance on day-to-day operations and raise alerts/concerns promptly (i.e. Internal and external auditors, Bank Negara, corporate taxes, withholding taxes, SST etc)
Job Requirements
- Holding/pursuing professional accounting certification (ACCA/ICAEW/CPA/MICPA/CIMA) and preferably member of MIA
- Must be familiar with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards
- At least 7 years working experience of which at least 3 years holding a supervisory position.
- Have good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin as a plus point
- Technically competent with Microsoft Word & Excel
- A strong team player with good interpersonal skills, self-initiative, proactive, result driven, meticulous, inquisitive and forward thinking
- Experience in handling full set of account and reporting of few companies at the same time.
- Preferably has experience in e-commerce & fintech.
- Knowledge in handling Microsoft Dynamic GP accounting system;
- Experienced in communicating between Operations and Finance;
- Background in reputable financial institutions or accounting firms
