Category Management Executive
Job Description:
- Analyze and synthesize available data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights, and convey the message through clear visualization to drive category growth.
- Keep the team updated with the latest market trends (FMCG, NARTD), shopper behaviors with available internal and external data.
- Enabling the use of scan data for internal stakeholders by improving the accessibility and upskilling the stakeholders.
- Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders (Sales, customers, Channel Marketing team) – “sparring partner” of the Sales team for internal reviews, Channel Marketing team for selling stories.
- Support Sales team on JBPs with clear insights.
- Work with key customers on category reviews, which includes assortment review, merchandising / space planning recommendations – be the trusted partner to drive mutual category growth.
- Work closely with key vendors to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Job Requirement:
- Ideally 2-3 years working experience in category management, insights, trade marketing and sales.
- Able to translate data into insights and articulate it in a relevant way to key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Experience in space management software is preferred. Good working knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Capable of grasping external and internal data, e.g. Nielsen retail audit, Kantar shopper panel, Mailer Tracker.
- Able to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Commercial savvy, with a strategic approach to drive profitable category growth.
