Nexus DNL is a subsidiary of Nexus with expertise to package portable diesel engine driven (zone 2) air compressor, Generators and Data Acquisition system (DAS). We also provide packaging and refurbishment for other diesel engine driven application such as crane, HPU, batch mixers, mud pumping units and emergency generators as per Oil & Gas requirement.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Project Engineer located in Puchong. The Lead Project Engineer will oversee project planning, management, and engineering efforts while ensuring all tasks are executed effectively.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Leadership - Lead and supervision project team to manage project objectives.
- Planning - Required to be analytical and precise, in order to explore alternative solutions and analyse feasibility of plans.
- Manage project objectives - Ensure products/projects are delivered as per required quality, lead time and cost
- Investment - Prepare CAPEX/OPEX budgets and Cost Benefit Analysis
- Communications - Responsible to organize appropriate meetings and information sharing to ensure project team members are well informed on project status
- Decision making - Take decision on any ad-hoc situation of project
- Project team competency development - Organize training, project post-mortem to improve project management
- Procedure maintenance - Develop, communicate and maintain industrialization project procedures
Qualifications
- Project Management and Project Engineering skills
- Project Planning skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities
- Ability to work on-site in Puchong
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field
- Previous experience in managing engineering projects for Oil and Gas customers is a plus
- Familiar with Shell DEP / Petronas PTS standard is added advantage
