PURPOSE:
· Through your passion for the brand and your strategic vision you will lead the store team in providing an iconic customer experience, ensuring the store maximises its profitability
· You will lead the team in the efficient running of the store both front and back of house in order to achieve operational excellence
Your commercial awareness and partnership with the Regional and Corporate teams will ensure your store’s success
RESPONSIBILITIES:
LEADERSHIP:
· Lead and manage a high performing store team, ensuring the employee experience is in line with brand strategies and drives the customer experience
· Through successful recruitment, on-boarding and training create a luxury store environment. Ensure all employees are effectively developed and coached to achieve overall success
· Ensure the store is staffed in accordance with trading requirements and all store team schedules are optimised to match customer traffic flows and operational demands
DRIVE FOR RESULTS:
· Drive productivity and profitability e.g. conversion rates, sales, UPT, AUR, customer data capture etc. Analyse reports to identify deficiencies and opportunities. Develop relationships and communicate effectively with product teams
· Leverage the customer profile database and store reports to support the development of a loyal customer base. Develop your team to achieve the highest quality of clientelling and customer profile capture with every transaction
· Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and Asset and Profit Protection strategies are followed in order to minimise any losses
· Provide high value feedback on trading opportunities following regional requirements
· Drive the digital strategy and ensure employees are engaged with new digital initiatives
BRAND PROTECTION:
· Be the ultimate Brand Ambassador, seen by others as a beacon of the brand and Bring to life Burberry’s core values – Protect, Explore, Inspire
· Ensure seamless execution of the Burberry Experience and visual standards
· Ensure events are managed in partnership with all relevant stakeholders
· Cascade company communications to all members of the store team and lead by example when embracing brand messages
· Ensure you emanate the Burberry leadership behaviours when dealing with all areas of the store and business
