Overview

The Manager, Global Markets Middle Office role is responsible for providing support and independent control over the activities of the Trading and Sales Desk. Your key activities in this role will include managing day to day processes such as static data and market data maintenance, including daily End of Day process, structured trades validation, collateral management and active involvement in Global Markets’ projects and new business initiatives. This role reports to the Head of Global Markets Middle Office.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

-Perform trade validation for fixed income, rates, credit derivatives and structured product trades captured in Murex by Traders and Sales.

-Perform collateral management activities for all Credit Support Annex and Global Master Repurchase Agreement

-Act as back-up relief for the following processes:

  • Daily rates upload into Murex.
  • Static data maintenance, eg. counterparties, instruments, currency set up in Murex.

-Active involvement in testing, roll out and implementation of projects and initiatives involving Middle Office

Jobholder Requirement

  • Malaysian citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Banking

Experience & Skillsets

  • At least 7 years’ of Global Markets related working experience
  • Conversant in Global Markets Business and Products (knowledge on ISDA, CSA, client valuations and collateral management would be an added advantage)
