Store Manager (Wine Industry)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible to assign tasks to the employees and schedule their work hours and shifts
· Monitor employee work habits and ensure that the tasks are completed in a timely manner
· Responsible to conduct the performance reviews for the employees
· Write up reports on employee behaviour and customer complaints
· Motivate employees and offer incentives to boost employees’ work performance
· Responsible to train new employees and ensure they are well equipped to perform their tasks
· Oversee the daily tasks, cash flow and expenses
· Ensuring that the outlet is presentable, tidy and clean at all times
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Ensure that the outlet is a welcoming place for customers in a retail setting
· Ensure that the customers are satisfied and able to find what they are looking for
· Responsible to educate the customers on the product line
· Restock the merchandise and ensure that the receiving and storage of products/merchandise are stored and recorded properly. All inventory must be accounted for
· Ensure that the daily sales goals are met
· Ensure that proper cash handling procedures are in place and observed at all times
· Respond quickly and practically to any emergencies, crises or unexpected problems during the shift
· Process paperwork for HR or upper management as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Working experience in Wine & Liquor industry is preferrable.
· Able to work well with a team
· Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
· Able to maintain professional but friendly demeanour
· Possess physical strength necessary to move and restock merchandise or products in the stores and warehouses
· Demonstrate familiarity with basic computer programs, e.g. Word and Excel
· Good time management and has attention to detail
· Capable of disciplining or reprimanding employees when necessary
· Responds calmly and professionally to emergencies, angry customers or any other stressful situations in the workplace
· Demonstrate the ability to multitask on a daily basis
· Exhibits a broad familiarity with the products and organization of a store
· Willing to work at Pavilion Bukit Jalil
