1. ROLE DESCRIPTION Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows. Optimizes productivity by designing, implementing and testing new procedures. Assembles reports to document process status and changes. Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades. 2. JOB SPECIFICATION (KNOW-HOW) • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical processes in formwork and steel manufacturing • Utilize process simulation software to model and analyze production processes • Develop and maintain process flow diagrams and material balances • Implement process control systems to ensure product quality and consistency • Analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement • Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes • Review and develop working instruction and other standard operation procedure • Analyse rejection type, quality issue and improvement activities • Review process flow and motion time study base on value stream mapping. • And any other instruction relevant to the job functions that may be given to you from time to time. 3. Education/Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial or similar). • 5+ years of experience as a process engineer in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of process optimisation techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis. • Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, statistical analysis and simulation software. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues. • Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. 4. Training/Skills/Normal Experience • Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream Mapping. • Master’s degree in process engineering or a related field. • Professional certification in process engineering or related areas. • Experience with process automation and control systems. • Knowledge of automation and control systems, such as SCADA and PLC. • Knowledge of process simulation software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools. • Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards.
