As a project engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the timely and efficient completion of assigned projects. This is a contract position based in Singapore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Play a lead role in managing the Contractors in the construction of new MRT Lines and/or enhancement to Existing Lines.
  • Involved in the management of the contractors for Stations and Tunnel constructions in elevated or underground constructions, or addition & alteration works for existing lines.
  • Responsible for the safety, quality, progress, stakeholder management and environment impact of the Contractors' works.
  • Assist in planning and managing the risks and cashflows of the various contracts as well as the issuance of instructions and assessment of variations/payments/claims.

REQUIRMENT:

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the MRT/ metro railway projects or experience in managing deep excavation / tunnel construction using Tunnel Boring Machines (either EPB or slurry)
  • A good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil and trackwork.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple tasks and resources.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Able to relocate required for this role.

REMUNERATION:

  • Starting salary is based on qualifications, universities and relevant working experiences
  • Bonus: 13th Month, Annual Variable Component (AVC) and Performance Bonus
  • Must relocate to SINGAPORE and one-time Settling-in Allowances of $2,000 for those who have not work in Singapore.
