The role will involve:

1. Profiling, Crediting, and Demand Planning (70%):

  • Conduct comprehensive and timely Foodservice profiling by store and product to drive sales, minimize waste, and maximise profitability aligning with category targets
  • Accurately calculate waste credit for submission to Shell for retailer payments to retailers and carry out quarterly line of defence audits to ensure compliance and financial accuracy
  • Develop and manage product demand forecasts to be distributed to distributors, ensuring optimal inventory levels, on-shelf availability and efficient stock management strategies

2. Regular Reporting, Data Maintenance, and System Improvement (30%)

  • Process and integrate data from various sources to maintain a robust master database encompassing weekly sales, waste and bake plan volumes
  • Respond to ad-hoc site requests for bake plan amendments relayed through customer service channel
  • Create and maintain workbooks to accommodate changes such as new product lines, site refit, closure or new sites
  • Regular review of reporting mechanism to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
  • Provide analytical support to line manager and supervisor with dashboards (developed using Excel / Power BI) for the existing and future markets
  • Generate specialised reports and analysis to address specific business needs

Qualifications

  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Fresh Graduate or 0-2 working years experience
  • Experience of extensive work with analysis tools, including advanced Excel skills and business intelligence tools such as Power BI is advantageous
  • Can show a clear knowledge and understanding of Planning and Statistics and demonstrate achievements within that environment
  • Proven experience in data processing, system maintenance, and report generation
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, capable of balancing tactical execution with long-term strategic goals
  • Good communication and presentation skills to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and organizational levels
  • Full driving license
