We're seeking highly motivated and experienced Contract Manufacturing Program Lead, you'll work closely with internal and external partners to drive operation excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Contract Manufacturer (CM) Operational Excellence:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of CM operational deliverables, proactively identifying and driving resolution of any performance gaps to ensure timely recovery and consistent output.
- Technical Documentation Control:
- Establish and maintain rigorous documentation management for all outsourced manufacturing processes, version control, and seamless accessibility for relevant stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring and Issue Resolution:
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics and performance indicators, employing technical analysis to pinpoint and address issues that impede delivery.
- Foster collaborative problem-solving with CMs and internal teams to develop and execute effective and timely solutions.
- Technical Communication and Collaboration:
- Act as the primary technical liaison between internal engineering, and supply chain teams and CMs, facilitating clear communication regarding process improvements and resolving engineering-related delivery constraints.
- Continuous Improvement and Technical Process Optimization:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives at CM sites, leveraging technical expertise to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with CMs to implement advanced process optimization strategies and integrate best practices in manufacturing technology.
- Technical Cost Analysis and Management:
- Perform in-depth technical analyses of manufacturing costs, identifying and implementing opportunities for cost reduction through process optimization and improved manufacturing methodologies.
Qualifications:
Education:
- • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or Bachelor's degree in Business/supply chain management
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract manufacturing management or a related technical role.
- Proven experience with manufacturing process analysis and optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in quality control and documentation management.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
- Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with quality management systems.
- Ability to perform technical cost analysis.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partner
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Degree:
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Certifications:
- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma or Project Management
Industry Experience:
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company's products (e.g., electronics, medical devices, automotive).
Specific Technical Knowledge:
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with specific manufacturing technologies (high power products).
- Experience with Oracle, ERP or MRP systems.
