We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Business Development Executive to join our team at Syspex Mechatronic (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities that align with our company's strategic objectives.
What you'll be doing
Customer Relationship Management:
• Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring continued satisfaction and repeat business.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and provide expert advice on packaging, warehousing, and automation solutions.
Business Development & Market Expansion:
• Identify and target new business opportunities in the packaging, warehousing, and automation sectors.
• Drive the sales process from prospecting to closure, aligning solutions to meet customer needs and objectives.
• Increase market share by identifying industry trends and adapting strategies to capture new segments.
Sales Target Achievement:
• Develop and execute a business development plan to meet or exceed the budget set by the company.
Collaboration & Innovation:
• Work closely with internal teams (product development, operations, marketing) to ensure customer requirements are met with tailored solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activity to provide innovative solutions to customers.
Key Qualifications:
• Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Proven 3-5 years experience in business development or industrial solution selling, ideally in packaging, warehousing, logistics, or automation.
• Strong track record of managing existing customer accounts and successfully acquiring new business.
• Solid understanding of industry-specific solutions, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Experience in CRM tools and sales forecasting is a plus.
