Job Summary:
Partipost is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance for our Regional markets while being based in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in a cross-border finance environment. This role involves financial planning, budgeting, tax compliance, and strategic financial decision-making to ensure business efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the regional Singapore markets.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Monitor key financial metrics and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Accounting & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Singapore Financial Accounting Standards (“FRS”).
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
- Oversee accounts reconciliation, cash flow management, and financial statements.
Tax & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regional tax regulations, including GST/VAT and corporate tax filings.
- Work with external auditors and tax advisors for statutory audits and tax filings.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes in the regional markets Malaysia and Singapore that may impact business operations.
Cross-Border Financial Management
- Support financial operations for the regional entities while ensuring alignment with local Malaysian finance functions.
- Manage intercompany transactions and transfer pricing documentation.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure compliance with company policies and financial strategies.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies in the regional markets.
- Work closely with regional finance teams to drive efficiency and process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
- Work experience in the media industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of FRS accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Experience in cross-border finance operations, particularly between Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Quickbooks).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
