Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams focused on delivering APAC Initiatives.
  • Monitor internal projects from initiation through delivery, including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
  • Create operational reports to satisfy the Goals\KPI's the region and stakeholders are measured on.
  • Assist in maintaining and building reports for QBR and organising follow-up actions
  • Facilitate meetings, including identification of action items and follow-up.
  • Organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules with all critical tasks and related milestones, using approved methodologies and templates.
  • Manage stakeholders proactively to offset scope creep and maintain the integrity of time budgets and schedules.
  • Follow up on APAC activities with stakeholders in the US and Europe and report on the progress in meetings.
  • Improve operational excellence in the region

Required Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years of Project/Program Management experience; must have project experience managing large projects.
  • Nice to have: P&C insurance experience, vendor management experience, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and Agile certifications.
  • Ability to create, maintain and manage operational reporting.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, written, and verbal).
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex issues to non-technical staff and executive-level management.
  • Demonstrated excellent negotiation skills within challenging situations.
  • Experienced working with onshore and offshore resources, exposure in the APAC region would be a plus.
  • Comfortable and confident in working with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to function successfully within fast-paced, high-stress projects.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly in new situations.
  • Follows Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. Skills in SAFE preferable.
  • Demonstrated skill in working with diverse partners and managing large multi-functional groups.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Technical knowledge in the software product environment would be ideal.
  • Flexible work arrangements to interface with stakeholders across different regions.
