You support our team as

FEA / Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Performs FEA on FOGT products to customer requirements and industry standards.
• Creation of technical reports of analysis’s projects.
• Performs engineering tasks using FOGT/Industry standards.
• Has conceptual knowledge of fundamental engineering theories, principles and practices.
• Produce 3D CAD Models and Technical Drawings.
• Creation of Part Numbers / Bill of Materials to ensure all technical requirements are met (Company MRP system - SAP).
• Complete Technical Review and Support for various Customer Orders / Enquiries
• Provide Technical support in accordance with internal specifications, industry standards and customer requirements
• Highly knowledgeable of relevant industry codes including ASME, API, Norsok and DNV.
• Able to mentor and teach other team members. Provide guidance to the engineering team on a day-to-day basis.
• Contributes to the development of the innovative products and processes.
• Broadens capabilities and continues to build knowledge of the company, processes, and customers
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience. Preferred in the FEA & Oil and Gas Industry but not essential.
• BEng or BSc required. Meng or MSc preferred.
• Experience of Abycus / Ansys software
• Working knowledge of standards (ASME VIII, API, Norsok and DNV) an advantage but not essential.
• Good analytical abilities.
• Strong CAD abilities.
• Experience of cradle to grave product design experience.
