Accountant
Job Summary:
To manage the whole spectrum of the financial accounting and reporting. The role of the Accountant is to support the CEO to oversee day-to-day financial accounting functions, managing the cashflow operations, forecasting and budgeting, handling tax and auditing matters, preparing monthly financial and performance reports, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining full set of accounts
- Preparation of Financial Statements & Monthly Performance Reports
- Manage whole spectrum of Accounting Operations
- Preparation of cashflow forecast and manage cashflow requirements accordingly
- Monitoring Expenditures against budget
- Working and coordinating with other departments for preparation of monthly performance report, risk report, annual budget, etc
- Checking completeness of information for payments and ensuring compliance of company’s Standard Operating Procedures
- Analysing and presenting Financial information
- Preparation of Annual Budget
- Handles auditing processes and ensuring compliance to Accounting standards
- Handling Tax matters and ensuring compliance to tax rulings
- Handling Banking matters
- Maintaining & Updating Risk Register
Job Specification:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Professionals certifications
- Member of MIA
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in similar capacity.
- Skills:-
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong analytical skills
- Possess good interpersonal skills and able to coordinate well among inter-departments
- Attention to detail
