Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Oracle Database Administrator role located in Cyberjaya. The Oracle Database Administrator will be responsible for tasks such as database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and database security maintenance on a day-to-day basis.

Responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of databases. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing databases to support the organization's applications and systems. The DBA will ensure high availability, consistent performance, and data integrity, and will provide troubleshooting and tuning expertise for

complex database environments.

Responsibilities:-

Design, create, and manage databases to support business needs.

Maintain and ensure database availability, performance, and security.

Monitor database performance and resolve any slow queries or performance issues. Implement and manage database security, ensuring proper access control.

Ensure databases comply with data security standards and regulations.

Develop and manage database backup and recovery plans.

Apply database updates, patches, and perform necessary maintenance.

Ensure smooth database operations during upgrades and migrations.

Qualification:-

5 - 8 years of experience as a Database Administrator in large-scale environments.

Proven experience in database administration, database performance tuning, and optimization.

Hands-on experience with database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Strong knowledge of database design, management, and optimization.

Proficiency in SQL and database query tuning.

Familiarity with database backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.

Experience with database security and access control management.

Hands-on experience with database monitoring and management tools.
