Job Overview:
You will be responsible for supporting the IT applications & operations, implementing software applications & technology solutions, and ensuring the user support and security of our systems. This role requires strong applications & IT technical expertise, application analytic thinking, and understanding of business & manufacturing business processes to support the organization's IT needs and objectives.
You are responsible for the IT applications & operation support in the organization, such as but not limited to: IT software applications, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), HR management systems, asset & operations management software, and productivity tools, and IT infrastructure systems including network, server and client/end point operations. The scope includes planning, functional analysis, implementation & support of IT systems in collaboration with IT COEs and appointed service providers and third-party vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate support & deployment of software applications and systems, including enterprise resource planning (ERP), HR management systems, MES, asset & operations management software, and productivity tools.
- Collaborate with IT COEs and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, communicate project status, and ensure user adoption of new systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime and availability of IT resources. Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks from cyber threats and breaches.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
- Manage IT support services and user support. Provide technical assistance and guidance to end-users, resolve escalated issues, and ensure timely resolution of IT-related problems.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and consultants.
- Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms to optimize value and quality of services.
- Monitor IT spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Establish procedures/system to track inventory of office computer equipment and associated facilities.
- Any other ad-hoc task assigned by the superior/management from time-to-time.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related subjects.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in relevant field.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar IT role.
- Be familiar with full process of ERP, MES and other relevant operation or business applications
- Experiences in support & deployment of ERP, MES and other relevant operation or business applications
- Experiences in IT operation support including network, server and client/end point operations
- Familiarity with business intelligence and analytics tools is an advantage.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess risks, identify issues, and propose appropriate solutions.
- Experience in developing and delivering user training for new applications
- Excellent knowledge of IT best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
