Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with service and repair inquiries at the service reception.
- Create and maintain accurate job cards for proper documentation of service or repair requests.
- Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs or servicing and keep customers updated on their car’s status.
- Provide technical explanations and advice to customers regarding their vehicles.
- Interpret and communicate customer feedback and concerns to the technical team for further diagnosis.
- Provide quotations for repair of customer's car and communicate with customers for approval including additional repairs on their cars whenever necessary.
- Verify warranty coverage using vehicle maintenance records.
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to place orders and notify customers upon parts arrival.
- Liaise with Workshop Controller/Manager to ascertain the quality of the job done before notifying customers for vehicle collection.
- Conduct follow-ups within three days of servicing to gather feedback on customer experience and vehicle performance.
- Deliver vehicles to customers promptly and ensure they are returned clean and tidy.
- Upsell approved products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to overall sales targets.
- Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to the manager when needed.
- Diploma or Degree in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior experience working with continental automotive brands (Volkswagen, Audi, Volvo, MINI, Mercedes, etc.) is preferred.
- Familiarity with Chery systems is an added advantage.
- Confident, dynamic and highly customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer literate.
