Major Duties & Responsibilities:

General

  • Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities align with production and operational needs.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance engineers and technicians.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.
  • Technical Oversight:
  • Provide technical guidance to resolve complex maintenance issues.
  • Review and approve maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Monitor the performance of equipment and machinery, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Resource Management:
  • Manage the procurement of tools, supplies, and equipment required for maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  • Quality Assurance:

Qualifications/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Diploma / Professional Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong technical understanding of basic manufacturing equipment
  • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, analysis, and decision-making skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
