Job Summary:

The HRIS Workday Consultant will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Change Requests (CR), assisting with testing the performance and usability of Workday applications, and preparing user training documentation. This role also involves collaborating on key Workday projects to optimize HRIS systems, taking on leadership responsibilities, and guiding junior team members to meet business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gather Business Requirements: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and document HR and system requirements.
  • Workday Capabilities: Educate business users on the full capabilities of the Workday system and advice on how it can best support business processes.
  • Identify System Gaps: Analyze business requirements and identify gaps between those requirements and the existing Workday functionalities, proposing effective solutions.
  • System Configuration: Lead the configuration or reconfiguration of Workday to meet business needs, ensuring the system is optimized for HR processes.
  • Test Case Definition: Develop and oversee the creation of test cases for Workday solutions to ensure system functionalities meet business expectations.
  • Testing and Deployment: Lead the testing and deployment of Workday solutions into production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and high system quality.
  • Issue Troubleshooting: Take the lead in troubleshooting and resolving issues in the Workday production environment, ensuring system stability and functionality.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and support Workday implementation and enhancement projects, contributing to project planning, execution, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration, stakeholder alignment, and user adoption.
  • Support and Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance and support to junior team members and peers, sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure successful project delivery and continuous development.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years working experience in Workday configuration.
  • Strong technical expertise in the Workday platform, including configuration, integration, and reporting capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements, design and implement effective solutions, and provide training and support to end-users
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
