We are looking for a Field Application Engineer for Industrial Automation products to support Malaysia partners and customers.
You will work together with Sales Manager in the respective region and connected with SEA Solution Center attend to customer’s technical enquiry and product support.
The position is based in Penang, Malaysia but may require occasional travelling to support customer on site covering Malaysia but mainly in the region of his own.
The main responsibilities are:
· To support our Sales team, Key account customers and channels partners
· Providing introduction and training to channel partners for IA products/solutions
· Supporting channel partners with application of all IA products/solutions
· Reporting periodically to Field Application Team on the status of the assigned activities and potential issues.
· Conducting benchmarking analysis for IA products/solutions whenever required
· Reporting technology and feature trends related to IA products/solutions.
Qualifications:

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years Factory/Machine/Process Automation Engineering Experience.
- Experience in Motion, PLC, Robotics, VFD and SCADA is a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, Chinese and Malay.
- Soft skills in customer focus mentality by having listening and communication skills
- Analytical and logical problem solving skills and not bounded by what deemed as usual.
- Ability to translate a customer requirement or application into a full automation architecture by integrating available products and sometimes with 3rd party component as a full solution to customer.
