What will you be doing?

The Supply & Demand Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of fresh milk from production to market. This role is supply-driven, focusing on optimizing the supply chain to meet commercial objectives. The manager will work closely with our group subsidiary responsible for milk production, ensuring that supply meets market demand while maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency.

1. Supply Chain Coordination:

• Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end supply chain for fresh milk, from production at the dairy subsidiary to distribution to commercial customers.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize production scheduling, storage, and distribution processes.

2. Demand Forecasting & Planning:

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand and align supply planning accordingly.
• Monitor market trends, consumption patterns, and production capabilities to adjust forecasts and ensure timely supply.

3. Inventory Management:

• Manage inventory levels to balance supply availability with market demand, minimizing waste and ensuring product freshness.
• Implement inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce losses.

4. Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure that all supply processes comply with relevant quality standards, food safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with the production team to maintain consistent product quality and address any supply issues promptly.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as the primary liaison between the production subsidiary and commercial teams.
• Work collaboratively with suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners to streamline operations and resolve supply chain challenges.

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management, recommending improvements to processes and systems.

7. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions within the supply chain.
• Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience, efficiency, and responsiveness to market changes.

What you bring?

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or demand planning, preferably within the dairy, FMCG, or food & beverage industries.
3. Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to forecast demand and manage supply.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
5. Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
6. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic market conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
2. Experience in a supply-driven commercial role within the dairy or fresh produce sector.
3. Knowledge of quality and food safety regulations specific to the dairy industry.
4. Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
